Looking back on my year of making music, I think I've made a lot of progress. I'm able to arrange songs faster, and I have a better understanding of how to have "pro" level loudness/sound in my mixes. One realization over these last few months is that quantity and consistency is more important than quality when you're trying to learn/improve. It's better to spend an hour or so per day working on different varieties of tracks (or watching YouTube tutorials) than it is trying to perfect a single 8 bar loop hours on end. For 2026, I'm going to be focusing more on just experimenting and getting quicker with making music, rather than trying to get full songs released. It's been a fun creative outlet for me so far, and I'm excited to see where it continues to lead.
